I grew up with one one these glass, stretch vases in my parent's living room; some time in the 60's/70's. I don't remember exactly. That one vase became the start of this collection. Although they aren't exactly Halloween items, they sure fit in nicely.
As I understand it, these vases were molded and then "stretched" while the glass is still malleable. It is this treatment which makes each piece unique. The tallest one in my collection measures 43"!!
